Yong ping – where did this style come from? Who or what influenced you?
Why that font and how many versions did you create before this one?

The primary look & feel came from the existing ‘Garden for a Living London’ campaign by the London Wildlife Trust, website here http://www.wildlondon.org.uk/gardening/Home/tabid/384/language/en-US/Default.aspx. In order to maintain a similar look as the original idea to the campaign as an add on to this campaign. The font was Rockwell which was the same font used on the original ‘Garden for a Living London’ campaign.
For inspiration I looked at http://www.jellylondon.com/, particularly at work with illustrative organic looking text. This led to Sawdust, http://www.madebysawdust.co.uk/, where I drew further inspiration from the THE BEAUTIFUL BASICS OF SCIENCE book, identity for BE EVENTS and the graphic design REAP WHAT YOU SOW.

Oh no, I think I would dread a paperless world.
Anyway, purpose of the comment is to ask if the pink header that says ‘0 Comments’ and the text under it ‘It’s quite in here! Why not leave a response?’ was written by you. Cos there’s a spelling error – ‘quite’ instead of ‘quiet’. Just FYI, haha.

haha thanks for your comment Eileen, the error has been amended! =) I doubt there will be a 100% paperless world; but these are new & exciting possibilities to the old paper medium

[...] Moving on from the last post where I explored more ideas, http://hello.iampingpong.com/?p=1385, I decided to work with the headline of ‘I Was Cheated by a Label’. Label referring to food labeling of course and not to be confused with labels in the form of fashion labels or stereotypes, I would have to make sure I stay clear of those issues as I do not want to complicate my campaign. I liked what I saw from the research I did found at http://hello.iampingpong.com/?p=1412 [...]
